Kaylee M

High School Sophomore

“Mr. Erwin applies leadership qualities to whatever he may be teaching. He helps students understand how to use those qualities in all aspects of life, whether that be within music, leading, following, or anything else. He achieves this by using inclusive real-world examples that anyone can relate to in some capacity. By reaching all of the students that he is teaching, he ensures that everyone is aware that they are a leader and are capable of showing those qualities in everything they do.”

Tim McKinney

Band Director at Piney Grove Middle School

“Usually, I loathe presentations that many do not have anything to do with my area of education. This was a breath of fresh air. It was fun, engaging and was definitely on topic for our area. I really enjoyed having Patrick come to our school system and present.”

Dr. Chris Carr

Teacher at Carrollton High School

“Patrick led a half-day leadership clinic with my band students this summer and left a significant impression. He has a knack for making students comfortable and has the charisma to encourage them to open up. The lesson that he presented became the focal point of our season. We used its principles to increase our efficiency during rehearsals and to foster relationships amongst our members. This has been the best year of my teaching career thus far, and my student leadership has made the difference. Patrick’s clinic provided what my students needed to become the game changers they are today.”

Ethan Kimbrough

High School Sophomore

“Mr. Erwin is energetic, attentive to his students, and most of all hilarious when it comes to his lessons. The games we played in his leadership classes were not only fun but did help me improve my leadership and communication skills. I don’t think a lot of people are able to captivate audiences like him, and I know for a fact that no one else can make connections with students like he can.”
